TFTD (2) 250 years ago the US constitution vested power in a leader with far more powers than any king he was invented to replace. Up till now none have tested that power and have assented to a customary notion of "checks&balances" which have turned out to be smoke and mirrors.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY (1): The next POTUS needs to be prepared to reduce their own power to end the absurd powers of the executive order; appointents to SCOTUS; the capricious powers of the pardon, and the unbridled power over the military.

It should be noted by all that amongst the many people pardoned by Trump for the insurrection of Jan6th many are already back on jail for various crimes. at least FIVE for pedohpilia and sexual abuse; 3 more for killing.

There is nothing more sad or desperate than an unwanted baby. Abortion is not nice but it is a better alternative to infanticide - which has been practiced the world over since time immemorial. Give women power over their bodies and there will be fewer abortions, and fewer instances of infanticide.
