#audio people: I want to send up to 32 balanced outputs (from a Yamaha TF5 mixer) to individual passive speaker drivers. The output impedance of the TF5 is 75 ohms and the speaker drivers have 8 ohm input impedance. Do I need to have an amplifier between the mixer and speaker to match impedance?
