It will be Republican’s fault and I hope it leads to their electoral annihilation.

Most recently what was considered the most liberal of the TV stations (founded by a pioneering woman – DorothyBullitt) was merged with a large conglomerate owned by conservative interest and has begun the if it bleeds it leads type of newscast. So I worry that this kind of inundation will hurt.

While we outnumbered them by a comfortable margin, it is still a unnerving the amount of money and effort being poured into the state to sow fear, uncertainty, and doubt. All of our TV stations and a number of radio stations have been acquired by ultra conservative networks.

In my state, which is classified as a liberal state, there is a seemingly large contingent of very discontent MAGA types whoever allowed, and very rude. Our newly elected governor is getting pilloried in the comment sections. They do this to any Dem politician.

I think the topography of this area with all the hills and mountains and valleys bounces the sound around and we hear it more. Contrast that with San Diego, whose airport is literally next to downtown is not plagued by noise issues.
December 14, 2025 at 12:16 PM
I don’t know. As I stated earlier, if you buy or rent near the airport knowing the airport generates noise, that’s on you.

The codes in Chicago including the required multi egress doors on EACH apartment were a response to the massive fires in earlier eras.

I’ve lived in a high rise 2 stair bldg and experienced 2 fires including 1 on my floor. When one side of the bldg was blocked due to flames and smoke the other stairwell was handy.

The City Council members should not be so surprised at SOOG’s caprice.

Vassal state my ass! 😂 So when EU countries open bases in Canada?

And again the airport predated any major population in that immediate area.
December 10, 2025 at 9:28 AM
This airport is now serving more than 52 Million passengers a year. The airport is only going to get busier. In addition to the 19 gate new terminal at SEA, there will need to be a whole new airport sited in the next 10 years and built within 30 years.

Change happens.

Plenty of other places in South King county that are less impacted by sea-tac noise that they can choose to rent or buy. The airport also did pay for noise mitigation before and during the 3rd runway project.
December 10, 2025 at 9:28 AM
The airport has been there for 75 years. Where nothing was surrounding it for miles. If you purchase a home near the airport, you should have an expectation of noise from its operations and no expectation of mitigation.

He was carrying out operations authorized by Congress to root out al-Qaeda operatives in all those places that were waging war on the United States.

It’s the de facto world currency now, but that is likely to fall away as Trump systematically destroys our diplomatic and trading relationships and our economy. You’re already seeing it with the BRICS consortium.

So we’ll know if the filed were tampered with.

This is where the shadow government should be spelling up to strongly protest this gross mis characterization of the man.
November 19, 2025 at 3:57 AM
And why is no democratic law maker screaming about him looting the government?
November 8, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Now that they’ve said no, the deal should be off the table and you should demand that the ACA be fully funded through the budget cycle. And Medicare cuts restored. The original “ask”.

Could the defense attorney get away with stating that to the jury? 😁
November 4, 2025 at 9:05 PM
I saw an interview on the Brian Tyler Cohen podcast about this and so far the information seems to be based on statistical anomalies of voting patterns. Brian pointed out that this alone isn’t enough. There needs to be concrete evidence of how the election was tampered with. Machines, processes etc

And we the people elected him. Which makes it our responsibility to clean up. Yes the gerrymandering and voter suppression were big factors and the disinformation media channels deranged the public. But at the end if the day it’s up to us.
