The heart attack that took my dad was so sudden and intense that we had no chance of saving him, but plenty of people die from heart attacks that could have been survivable if someone knew the lesser known symptoms. It’s my greatest hope that by sharing this every year, I can spare someone’s life.

I finally cut the Ebisugaoka emblems out of vinyl and ironed them on. Not difficult at all but if they didn’t go on right, I would have to restart the whole collar. Will probably cover these with embroidery later.

LITTLE MAN HAS BOOTS

Originally, I was being super ambitious and was going to scratch-build PiB’s boots, but couldn’t find a fabric I liked and suddenly didn’t want to anymore. SO I painted a pair or Build-a-Bear combat boots with leather paint and replaced the laces

I made a belt bag! I wanted something to keep my phone close to me, so here you go. I had some bias tape left over from the bodice, and I found a Red Riding Hood fabric at my local quilting store (love you, Stitcher’s Garden, very sad you’re closing) to line it and make a mask

I used the same technique I did for Tōi’s belt, where I wrapped webbing in a faux suede, topstitched, and attached a big Western buckle
