My PhD student’s latest paper: Isotopic Niche Overlap of Four Large Pelagic Predatory Fish Species in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. A must-read for anyone interested in tunas, trophic ecology, and isotopes. Excellent work by Nathan Stewart on this paper! cdnsciencepub.com/doi/abs/10.1...

That's a wrap for the York River! 🎉 We collected eDNA samples at 8 locations along the river to detect saprolegnia, striped bass, rainbow trout, and Atlantic salmon. Next up: the St. Anne and Cascapedia Rivers!

We’re deploying 106 receivers in the inner Oslofjord for the NMBU cod project with @oceantracking.bsky.social. This study tracks migration and movement shifts in two cod ecotypes and assessing habitat changes. Using Thelma and Innovation equipment, an open protocol is key to the project!

New paper from Steph Blain! If you’re interested in our new approach to meta-analyses with more than two groups (e.g., ecotypes), it’s definitely worth a read. Plus, discover ecological drivers influencing post-glacial lake divergence!

I'm so proud of @StephABlain new meta-analysis I supervised. Her research is truly impressive, I firmly believe it will shed light on aspects related to the repeatability of Coregonus and Salvelinus divergence. It's a must-read!
