Pointless individual.
This evening’s reading choice. Hopefully it helps. Just started it but it’s already managed to describe me fairly accurately.

Shitty photo of a double rainbow 🌈 What you can most clearly see here is just how dirty the office windows are 😂

Yes, office on a Friday - always a bad idea, more so with the rain.

It’s just grey out there today. No raining, not windy, just grey. Today’s #ShitWildlifePhoto is an Egret. Honestly.

Took the dog out - we were the foreign side of the Kent ditch. Apparently she’s tired now - I imagine she’ll be wide awake in about 15 minutes when it’s time for her dinner.

If you want to know just how mature I am, this work teams call made me snigger:

More #ShitWildlifePhoto shenanigans- an Egret and either 2 Herons or the same one twice.

I mean, what else could a geek possibly want?

It is very large. My plan this year was to drive it around the Comic Cons. This never happened!

End of level boss @vimtotime.bsky.social

I think this is a youngster - it seemed surprised to see me (I took this photo from my desk). Also appeared unsure how to proceed from this point 😂

The water pressure has dropped through the floor and I’ve had a text from South East Water to tell me there may be an interruption to supply. Caused apparently by storm Goretti - the storm that battered the south west, Scotland and the midlands but failed to blow over the wheelie bins here. Useless.

Wondered what the dog was trying to get at - grass verge crabs apparently! Presumably launched out of someone’s car window but certainly a bit random.

A classic bit of Saturdaying - dog walk followed by Where Eagles Dare.

Google’s AI interpretation of what’s in photos still needs a bit of work 😂

The bluebells are starting to push through the leaf litter - signs that spring is on its way.
Also featuring in this photo is the nose of a Labrador that can’t help shoving her face in the way of whatever I’m doing 😂

Dark, wet, lumpy rain, windy, muddy dog walk this morning. I failed to get a towel on the dog the instant we came indoors so now the wall has an “interesting” brown spotty pattern on it.
The dog is swanning around in her drying coat whilst I have tea and toast.

Another cold, crisp morning. I much prefer mornings like this to the darker, wetter, muddier days.

This afternoon’s dog walk was a #ShitWildlifePhoto bonanza. Squirrel, egret (I think - hard to tell from my shoddy photo), the Egret (assuming that’s what it is) and a heron, a different heron. I think the white bird is an egret- sort of heronish but slightly smaller and in white.
January 4, 2026 at 4:26 PM
Another crisp start to the day, -5 according to my phone. The dog is unbothered by the cold but apparently it makes all of the smells more interesting, she had to sniff everything this morning.
January 4, 2026 at 8:35 AM
It’s a #ShitWildlifeVideo today - Kestrel hunting.
January 3, 2026 at 4:18 PM
Chilly out again this morning- some good moon action as well (not that you can tell from my shitty photo).
January 3, 2026 at 8:19 AM
Christmas is officially over- tree down and twiglets finished.
January 2, 2026 at 7:11 PM
After a chilly walk on the beach this afternoon it’s cup of tea and fire time.
January 1, 2026 at 6:51 PM
Took the dog to the beach for a run - ‘bracing’ I think is the word.
January 1, 2026 at 6:43 PM
2026 is go. Bit nippy out.
January 1, 2026 at 8:14 AM
Fucking fireworks. FUCK OFF
January 1, 2026 at 12:01 AM
The fireworks have started. Dog is hiding between the sofa and the wall. That’s her evening done.
I have a log fire, beer, music and a book - that’ll do.
