I understand, but there are swaths of the country where they live in an alternate reality. These swings are huge, the win in Wisconsin despite musk money should loosen the grip on congress.

It’s not that simple. The districts in question were won by Trump with over 30% margin. Today’s margins swung by around 17%, which is huge considering the massive “registered republican” advantage in both of those districts. It essentially means some republicans woke up

I hope today’s election results including the double digit swings in Florida get the administration to back off on tariffs. I literally cannot afford to take a 25% pay cut right now
