I miss being naive to how cruel the world can be but I don't miss the constant anxiety from knowing something is wrong but not being able to pin point what so it is what it is I guess.

Thanks. I was back and forth on if I should post it the last 3 days because it was #prompt12 ( #shredded ) but I fell asleep halfway through inking it on Oct. 31st. I saw election day was today though so was like o.k. just the one exception and then back to comic art and commissions. 😅

Thanks! It's a bad habit I'm trying to work on though (and Inktober is really good practice for it) where I don't meet personal goals if I get fixated on details before I even finish all the rough sketches for a "set" of (x). If I'm going to go the distance as a comic artist I need to work on that.

The colored ink ones were a bit experimental. I'm used to working with markers as a base and then pencil on top but I think the goal of #Inktober is to improve as an inker with the prompts as speed exercises so how polished stuff looks will be hit and miss. 😅

Do you mean the one on the left rather then on the right where there's cross hatching done as a shading technique? Or just in general you like the black and white inks vs. the colored inks?

Ohh! I'm happy to hear that since it's the whole premise of the series this is fan art of. It's called "Welcome Home" and it's an interactive (experimental?) media that seems to take inspiration from The Muppets and is meant to feel like we (the viewers) have found a lost kids show from the 70's.

Pilot pens are my absolute favorite pens but I learned the hard way you can't use them on the plane so I make sure to experiment with lots of different kinds of inks to stay unlimited. 😅

Thanks David! I'm a little annoyed BlueSky 's thumbnail cropping cut off 3/4 of the pics heads so I may try doing the next set as 2 instead of 4. See if it helps. None of this is meant to be perfect anyway. It's a building speed exercise and last time I only did a weeks worth so yay 4 improvement!
