the slow response is a product of the dems trying to downplay the impacts of climate change as they've pivoted to a being pro fossil fuel. can't say that fracking is an essential industry & its effects are an existential threat to the country. the slow & weak response to Milton will be proof enough

it's also just a good movie. solid performances from the whole cast along with enveloping world building and beautiful set pieces designed to get you asking the big questions. the plot was rough at times but that's to be expected when you rework a script for over 30 years. would definitely recommend
