It’s another ‘clone town’ full of corporate multiple chains some multinationals, few cooperatives or local enterprises in sight. It’s sapped the life out of Gloucester and Swindon already! what’s it going to do to Tewkesbury and Cheltenham?

The Irish nation has an impressive record of standing on the side of the oppressed whether that be in terms of famine relief or advocating for stateless nations. They are though facing challenges from the far right over their generosity to migrants often termed ‘new Irish’.

Turnout has been gradually falling but need to question why in what my Dad - 30 years ago - described as the muesli belt can’t get excitement in what has been a Lab Green marginal for sometime. If it’s that flipping low Reform vote could be a three way split.

One of the striking things is the differential turnout between postal voters (PV turnout is about 70-80%) and in locals they are perhaps 50% of voters. Meanwhile the 70% of polling station voters have a strikingly relative turnout.
