Picked this up from a friends of the library sale (I think from Santa Cruz) about 8 years ago & was sitting on the shelf since. Loved the Cadillac Desert refs & now I feel compelled to visit Belize! Found out the founder passed in 2021, RIP Sharon and thanks for your advocacy

For a second I thought BF6’s sound effects was so realistic that my team’s Abram’s in a match sounded as if it was backing in & out outside my house
Turns out at the same time it was a pickup crashing into our neighbor’s cars before pulling into and out of our driveway

Glad to have spotted this one-of-a-kind trijet departing Plant 42! Not only can Stargazer launch small rockets into space but it’s also the last airworthy L-1011 Tristar! Usually I catch it on the ground whenever I pass its home base of Mojave so seeing it airborne is always a treat!

Ended up on the second arrival into LAX/Metro Transit Center! (We were delayed a bit so the southbound K Line from Expo/Crenshaw beat us/welcomed us lol)

Can’t believe this cumbersome af haul of litter picked up on this corner of the Avenue S bike trail is only 11 pounds (was a doozy hiking with it back home.) Glad today’s weather for Palmdale made it bearable to spend a couple hours doing this tho!

Some additional shots from yesterday’s XB-1 supersonic test! Initially waited it out in the high desert chill on Proteus Road by the 14 to watch the departure then headed down to the old 58 to catch it and the chase planes on arrival

Unexpectedly caught UTAH81 photobombing the XB-1 on final while the KC-135 in the distance was going on an another lap over the skies up north. Congrats @boomaero on the successful supersonic test!
