Sitting right on the border of Slovenia and Italy, Mount Mangart, requires some advanced hiking skills with steep drop offs and cables in several places. You can do the trail as a via ferrata but we did the hiking route (that also involved some challenging sections).

Here’s your excuse to visit Iceland.

We visited a National Park this weekend - and it felt bitter sweet. I’m so grateful for this amazing preserved land and also so sorry for the recent loss of staff, threats to our parks and general uncertainty for these public lands.
