You know what I’m really tired of? Characters in novels being writers. I know authors “write what they know” but I swear every other book I read includes a main character who is an author. Can you not even imagine another profession???

I’m really hoping this platform takes off. I’ve been grappling with removing myself from all other social channels, but having a ~20 year history there feels difficult to abandon. I’m realizing if I leave there are people I’ll likely never hear from again. But maybe that’s for the best?
