Agreed, all pro xenophobia thread runs through US. Myths of rugged individualism, American Exceptionalism, and “up by the bootstraps” all work to undermine progress toward more humane and inclusive culture.

As a US citizen, I don’t think we are among the most racist countries on the planet. But I 100% agree with your concerns about ICE, DHS and Trump administration. I would not travel here if you are marginally documented. Deeply embarrassed and sad to say that.

Brady is fine. Gushes a bit, but definitely knows NFL ball. Herbstreit, on the other hand is unlistenable.

His big pickup down the left side early in H1 was all pro stuff. Patiently let his blocker establish momentum, then that cut to the inside with acceleration was brilliant.

Rams are a great team. Hawks spotted them a turnover, but were nonetheless slightly greater tonight. That’s football. Still gotta win out, and we’re down a few guys in our secondary.
