Anorexia chic was very trendy in the 2000s. It made no one healthier, in fact it made some (both women and men) substantially less healthy. I have noticed some high-profile examples that seem to indicate it could return. I hope not.

Not to mention in one of the video ads she stares at the camera, blue eyes saturated for emphasis, and says “my jeans (genes) are blue.” In another she is in a vintage car. It’s a “retro” traditionalist aesthetic loved by American fascists. Idk why there’s this sudden blindness to dogwhistles.

Here’s the truth: children have the least amount of sexual dimorphism of any age. For a few years, actually, all the girls are taller, more emotionally mature, and stronger on average. If a kid wants to play on whatever team, who cares, it’s not about winning, and the impact is negligible.

This is true, but I’m sure many people will go to the stores and not know the difference. Just grab the first thing they see that tells them it’ll help. The important thing to look out for is Oxymetazoline, which is the active ingredient in Afrin and Sinex, and can lead to dependency.
