I think the main reason I’m glad I quit pursuing voiceover was the community

On the surface it’s a legion of passionate nerds who love media so much that they want to voice it for a living, but in reality you just get voracious attention whores aggressively networking to muscle out the competition

When you’re dating a 5-foot vtuber and you go on cute dates but they don’t post their face anywhere

My favorite thing about antifans is that they’ll make this passionate post about how horrible this stranger on the internet is and then literally a week later their feed will be filled with self-loathing posts about how ugly and lonely and unfulfilled they are

My favorite part about Bluesky so far is how it’s just mostly filled with happy, creative people who are sharing what they love, what they create, what they’re crazy about.

Twitter has become a place for people to mock and harass, but this site feels like a fresh beginning in comparison.

in case someone needs to hear this:

the main, uniquely numbered final fantasy entries are all new stories with new characters that you do not need knowledge from previous entries to play. you can just play whichever one looks the coolest to you.

I was really obsessed with gaining followers on the other site, but for whatever reason really don't feel like that's a priority here for me. My goal is to post about what makes me happy and that's pretty much it. I can vent to friends about the stuff that annoys me. I don't need to share it here.

Toriyama's World

We rescued a kitten that was abandoned and separated from her parents. She’s a spunky, fearless little girl so I named her Lulu after the character from Final Fantasy 10. She tries to fight the vacuum and regularly drop kicks my senior cat, so the name fits.

Social media is still cancer and I’m 300% happier working on my career and relationship, but I might post about video games and share any videos I make on here. Aside from that it’ll be pretty light! 😘
