I'm with you. What I got out of art college were principles, access, and a whole bunch of practice. It has you doing things outside of your comfort zone and getting comfortable with taking and giving critique.
But also, the art school I went to was forced to give me my money back. So haha

Oh I see what you saw him saying now. Yeah. Agree. Tennessee is pretty red and I doubt they'll tolerate much booing. I just wonder if the lack of anthems in the kraken game was a fluke or a new 'stamdard' to keep American viewers from hearing the point being made by Canada. =\ #censorship

I think we were talking about whether the anthems will get shown on TV now, not the presence of booing. However, Seattle might boo their own anthem while hosting a Canadian team - but if Amazon won't show anthems anymore, we'll never know. Also won't get to witness the booing when Canada is hosting.

I'll have to watch more games to know. The kraken are played on kraken hockey network which is owned by Amazon and played on Amazon prime. I wouldn't be surprised if there has been some 'input' from our overlords.

I was hoping Seattle would do it as we hosted Calgary tonight - but they didn't televise the anthems (which is kinda odd), so I guess Ill never know.

Perhaps good advice, but also, don't beat yourself up too much for venting into the void. I don't usually say anything to those posts - because I don't know what to say, but if it genuinely helps your mental health to vent - go for it. You're not hurting anyone. =)

I would like to share that "deus vult" was apparently adopted by christian nationals and right wing hate groups. I learned this today so I figured I would clarify that this is NOT that.
Hopefully its placement on a helmet of this type makes that clear, but one can never be anti-racist enough so...

Yeah, what Amanda said, but also - it's people who don't want trans people to even exist, and thus want no differentiation. They'll happily give up an identifier if it means we don't get acknowledged.

I was a foster parent. One of the kids in my care was taken from her mom because she said "sometimes I worry I might harm my child" to the kid's Dr. yet she never had. They took the kid for a crime that never happened. I helped that mom fight the system. Dropped the case 8mos later.
