My wife and I are moving back to Toronto next year and I am looking forward to becoming a one car family. I just spent a week in Milan at a friend’s place and it was so liberating not having to worry about parking a car or traffic. We used the tram and rail and walking for all our ventures.

Correct about the indirect, not a BS by fossil fuel. I just happen to be at a lunch with a world leading atmospheric chemist (one that discovered the relationship of cfc’s and the ozone hole) and they were talking about this with their colleagues.

I had no idea about this but to quote the person who brought this to light. Rebecca Watson

“My hope for his legacy is that someone can pick up the good that he taught, discard the bad, and continue to inspire people to be better critical thinkers. It’s the only afterlife he has.”

Note to self: when returning home to visit Toronto do not cross Clare Blackwood’s path.

Hydrogen was bad leaking into the atmosphere not as a renewable

I wouldn’t know if this is short sighted as this was told to me by Dr. Susan Solomon, atmospheric chemist at MIT, she discovered CFCs causing the Antarctic ozone hole. I think she knows this subject very well.

Hey! Did you borrow our dog? 🤣

There is a problem even with the greenest hydrogen and that if it leaks into the atmosphere it will react with OH and OH is the gas that reacts with methane.. less OH means more methane which is a bad green house gas. Hydrogen has to be carefully regulated to prevent leaks.
