Honestly what happened to governments just trying to help people improve their lives and provide services to allow people to live.

As a Brit, I find the USA a fascinating place. For a country of such wealth, there is staggering amounts of inequality and poverty.
Yet, any policy or idea that has been suggested to try and change peoples lives, is shouted down as socialism. Just look at how health care is seen.

As society, we need to hold those in power to account. As society if we need look after the most vulnerable. The previous governments failure to implement the Jay report recommendations, needs to be explored.
We need to be better as voters at judging who is suitable.
