I do think the Werlyt section of it was a bit tacked on (how does anyone there connect to Tataru at all??) and doubled down on the Valens stuff that I already really disliked, but every other section of the quest was SO GOOD and felt like such a huge payoff

-and come to not hate her body anywhere near as much. She still makes jokes about her scars but they're way less scathing, and she doesn't feel like she sees someone else in the mirror when she looks at herself. Her arm stump is still a point of shame that she barely lets anyone see, though.

-pick up the habit of self-denigrating for approval. She felt like a shambling copy of a person she was made to belive was better than her in every way, split open and made a science project for a sociopath's laboratory resume in the military.
