The game makes me feel like one of those Boom Boom Balloon toys, a dozen sharp points of interest needling at my brain. I have not felt like a piece of media just Refuses To Leave Me Alone like this in a while, and I think I’ll definitely treasure that feeling for a while longer

-and I love it as much as it hates me. I think about Fixer not even being there when Watcher dies. I think about her burning Watcher’s body anyways, saying she’ll never let anyone touch her again. About that quiet moment right after, where we see her hunched over at the train tracks, crying.

-came that there was, at this point, only one left watching over the Earth, we see Motherhood once again pushed to the forefront. I am forced to wonder if maybe the Keeper(s) took in a little of Iris, during their own communion.

-just like Clara suggested she should, even if it goes against what she might have wanted as a mother. Maternal martyrdom, I’ve called it in my head, and it definitely fits with what Kwan said, about Clara only knowing how to sacrifice.
