There was a course in a post-secondary school in my area on film animation, whereon the first lecture our main teacher skipped through all 20th century historically significant animators and their work because he thought no one actually cared about "not real animation"

Sorry but describing them as sociopaths won't lead anywhere. Especially since they're not - they care about their family. Trick is to get them to realize that if everyone had a mindset of helping your neighbour then we wouldn't live in this constant world of exploitation, othering people and war.

Unless you're a trained spy, people usually don't go against what they believe is right for that long. Even for tons of money, we'd see a slip up here and there. A far better way to look at it is like how "religion makes morally normal people say and do wicked things" - Christopher Hitchens.

My friend is an external QA contractor on Bedrock and from what they've said I'd assume that part of it is crossplay testing once or twice a day, every day, for years, till death does them part

It would be nice if you had more than 2 tries before it starts helping to make sure that players only get help if they really need it, but other than - it's fine.

I admit that after the initial wave of mixed feelings after seeing the patch notes, I arrived at the conclusion that it's possible that the world doesn't spin around my giant gamer cock and that a lot of people might appreciate this change.

I think the problem isn't loading an old save or even an older version of the game on Steam. It's the fact that you would have had prior knowledge and simultaneously be hell-bent on beating the funny lesbian game "the right way".
