The patriarchy is comfortable, it tells you no responsibility is in your shoulders and so, you don’t need to do any work to fix things. It removes blame from you.

But your agency is also removed, and the capacity to have power over your own life disappears. We’re only free when we’re accountable.

Yeah cells sometimes act disorderly which we could translate on layman terms as confused. You’re almost there!

Cells aren’t conscious, neither is nature, which is why we can’t assume an intended design. Biology will act regardless of our framework of it - and our framework is still evolving.

Oh actually, do you know about embryonic sex reversal? Well-documented phenomenon. Rare, though nowadays we believe it’s mostly under-diagnosed.

Anyway, it’s a pretty neat example of how the development of a body doesn’t necessarily follow the expected instructions.

Poor woman. I know ultimately this is on her, but I can’t help wondering what kind of advice is she getting too. I wouldn’t be the first time anti-trans activist runs a detransitioner to the ground and then just leave them to deal with the consequences alone.

Disassociating during a retelling of trauma is such a common and normal coping mechanism one thinks people would have catches up already. In many people, not showing emotion shows it affects them MORE, not less!
