yes! every bit of the show feels so targeted towards folks who've always engaged in fandom 😭💞 also, so much of the critique i've seen of hazbin/helluva is through a lens that devalues women's artistic perspectives tbh.
if it appeals to a wide, mostly female audience, for some reason it's devalued 😮💨

it’s frustrating (and misogynistic but 🤪) how often hellaverse writing is compared to fanfic as an insult. it’s What I Want in media! what a lot of people like me want, too! the themes and dynamics that, previously, only fan content could provide. it’s hard to articulate how cool that is. (2/2)
