Another piece from my mentorship program in the fall. This was a jungle themed prompt, so I paid homage to my childhood interest in orangutans 🦧

One of my pieces from my mentorship last fall. Ocean exploration was the prompt! I came up with these mermaids based on sea slugs.

Three mermaids with sea slug characteristics are floating into frame. One is blue and white, with pale eyes. The next is red and cream coloured with long hair like tendrils. Penelope's Vivarium was my strongest concept according to my mentor last year, so we developed her a bit further. These finals were the result!
