Also huge plus that Michael is just a genuinely good guy and director. He knew how much VFX was needed on Quiet Place and really included us and leaned on us to try and get the best results. Really excited for his future projects!

It was ok, and I worked on it 😅 but it was also during the pandemic and having a society wiped by a mysterious plague felt too on the nose

personally I love my Pixel, but the lidar scanning on iPhone for being on set is great to have, personal vs work phone?

The second tradition were "End of Show" awards. There would be categories like best animation, best lighting, best overall shot, etc. and everyone in the show would vote. Those who won got little fun ILM logo bulbs. There were honorable categories that also got print outs instead 😜

1st off is the "faux" money which was given out every project. If you swung by the prod office they would give you one & you could redeem it at our coffee shop "Javva the Hutt" (RIP 😭)

all the setting files I used to setup for all these ingest/load formats and figuring out the right conform for us. Def don't miss some of those imax/ana/iphone/GoPro Transformers days 😅

Do I dare to say, I love the softness too. All it's imperfections feels more organic to me compared to the sharp clarity of digital.
