Remember if you are angry and you wanna do something, one really important thing you can do is vote, I’m not talking about 2026. I’m talking about this week, next week, and the week after there are elections every single week multiple times a week that is where it change begins.

What's in the Senate Version of Trump's Big Policy Bill?
The legislation includes tax cuts as well as big cuts to Medicaid, food benefits and other programs, and it would add more than $3 trillion to the national debt.

I commend @wired.com for making this decision, and hope other publications follow suit. I have a theory that more people might just subscribe as a result.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow

11 out of 260 Democrats is 4%. we’re really going to throw out the whole party because of 4%????

I get that you’re angry today and so am I, but I’m angry at 4% not the other 249 (which is only the Dems at federal level. It’s not even 0.1% of all elected Dems.)
