I completely agree. For a short novel, it took a long time to read and went nowhere as a story. I also felt the same about Piranesi. Massively overrated and had already been done better by Erin Morgenstern.

Beautiful Sophie. My dog won’t go near the kitchen due to the hard flooring. He stands on a carpeted corner staring instead 🤣.

Why do we need either? Progress 8 is a damaging, limited measurement of an arbitrarily chosen list of subjects. If its only use is for league tables, then it is not of use at all.

Not all dogs like the sea. I had one who hated it, one that nearly ripped my arm out its socket to get in it and my current one doesn’t want to know, but does like a run on the sand.

We do group work in Science but this is not normally done sitting at a desk. Rows work great for theory work.
