So happy with my N100 mini itx local server, running cold and on low power (starts with 6W!), in a little box with a PICO PSU (max 120w), 16GB Ram, a SSD disk (m2 is an option!). Great for my WordPress (or any other PHP stuff) setups, with local SSL. Way faster than LocalWP.

Windows 22H2 is such a disaster, no wonder it's "optional". I had to uninstall it (Couldn't move windows by dragging the title bar to name one glitch). It left remnants though? File Explorer with an odd gallery, Paint (I think?). The Dev Home (a weird thing I couldn't figure out) dissapeared.

My old Thinkpad died and Pop!OS along with it. So I recovered my Debian NUC and I restaged with Pop!OS. Quite a pleasant experience (the keyboard/mouse weren't but that's a wireless Logi issues story..). A couple of hiccups ("Network was interrupted" in Chromium) but otherwise lovely.

The WordPress playground demoing WordPress in the browser without a PHP server is super cool, WebAssembly truly opens up so many possibilities for writing any language you want on the web. And just as neat, being able to build a purely native app using Wordpress.
The eternal patching. A medical center's contact form turned gradually into a Poor Man's Appointments system. Database-less. Framework-less. Now they asked to rotate the email addresses that get the form to process, as they added a new operator for the load. Enter SQLite! Don't think I ever used it.

My old Intel NUC has been noisy for a while. Turns out it's got a discrete fan not a heat sink as I naively thought it did. I removed so many full size motherboards but this one is tenacious :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EPZQUaJozk&t=93s&ab_channel=BrueComputing
