This is why it always pissed me off that we pulled the special education students from history or science class for services like speech or OT. So many of them got short-changed on thier education. Attitude was that they weren't missing anything "core"... such bs.
1/ I keep returning to one core thought: civics education really matters. It’s absence, at least in part, is what makes a Donald Trump and a MAGA movement possible.
