thanks for considering! like I said, I trust Y'ALL with that info and want to provide it so NCTE and Cs can have a better sense of the demographics of attendees! but maybe omitting that from the confirmation email that we receive would help preserve data but also keep folks safe :)

genuinely, i find it deeply disheartening and depressing that we would encourage students to use a computer generated idea rather than pushing them to really think about the content, to push past their own self-doubt and mental blocks and engage with the content we are trying to teach.
