Hate hearing about childminders closing-there are so few of us now. I really do think its the best way for children to be cared for holistically with all their needs met, small ratios, community, close family support, continuity, one key person etc.We need more of us !

Absolutely - this is where creativity is born , some of the best child initiated 'projects' at my house have been born from some strategically created 'boredom' ! Less is more !

The result of years and years of underfunding in early years and school infrastructure. The sector did tell them , it's going to take years to fix it too on the back of an undeliverable promise for free childcare made by the last government.
