New York rising with Karl-Anthony Towns is a thing of beauty, as hard as it may be to watch from a Wolves lense.

It hasn't been as polarizing or consistent as last year. Still, I'm noticing the Conley-Gobert PnR returning to the crutch of Minnesota's offense recently, even with Conley having his highest TOV% (12.9) since 2012-13.

It puts defenses in binds + promotes healthy ball movement.

Only seven teenagers in Timberwolves history have scored at TD Garden. Rob Dillingham's 14 points give him the third most points in a game by a Wolves teenager in Boston.

1st -- Anthony Edwards, 24p (4/9/21)
2nd -- Kevin Garnett, 17p (12/22/95)
3rd -- Dillingham, 14p (today)

For those who missed it, Terrence Shannon Jr. had 34 points, 6 assists, and 6 boards this morning in his G-League debut.

Looked exactly like his 2024-25 Illinois self.

My film dive into TSJ from right after the draft:

No DeMar DeRozan or Malik Monk tonight.

Can't help but think back to the Wolves taking care of injured teams early last season and how that has not been the case so far this year.

We will see what happens tonight.

Naz Reid learning to defend as a C instead of a F is certainly impacting the Wolves' team-wide defense.

54% of Reid's minutes this season have been at C, where only 20% of his minutes came last year. MIN's defense has been great with Naz at the 4 but toward league-bottom with him at the 5.

Wolves continue their march through a weak spot in the regular season with a B2B tonight and tomorrow in Portland.

Per Positive Residential, the Wolves have the easiest strength of schedule (.384) in the NBA from Nov 4 to 21.

They've opened that stretch 3-1.
