He used to like scritches and being held when he was small, just grew out of it I suppose. Grumpy middle aged budgie, lol

He doesn't like being touched outside of beak kisses, so pin feathers are always a bit of a problem :')
He can get rid of most of them himself by rubbing against things, but not all ofc.

I'd love to scritch him... Alas, he hates it 😔

Charlie bites his tail when he's frustrated or when nobody's paying attention to him. It's entirely behavioural, he'd otherwise have one.
I've heard of the polyomavirus causing feather abnormalities, but that's mostly in budgies, so I don't know whether it does the same in other parrot species...
