Earlier this week I looked out our kitchen window and saw this male sparrowhawk perched on our shed. Seems he'd missed our small passerines on our feeders. #birds

Just started reading Simon Kuper's book Good Chaps describing how our political leaders have corrupted many of our institutions. The slide reached its peak with Johnson. Let's hope that things get better with the new Labour government. So far it looks promising. I certainly recommend the book btw.
