I love chiikawa so much but I hate that the Fandom apparently hates my two favorite characters

everytime Sir Chloe drops a new song my brain goes "alright, time to figure out a way to relate this to Callie :)"

i truly do not think there will ever be a character that has affected me, quite like callie cuttlefish, she has permanently altered my brain chemistry (and i love it)

the problem i always face is trying to make a character look both like the character..but also the dog im trying to make them look like...instead of kinda just........like a dog

theres a certain au i miss SO BADD, im not a big au person but this one was special to me (probably because it revolved around the squid sisters hahahahaaaaa) it didn't necessarily end but i don't know if its ever gonna get updated again which is fine obviously but..god it was so fun i miss it

everytime im like "i should draw more!" i try to draw and then i realize why drawing is just a very casual hobby for me

Callie would 100% be a Cairn Terrier change my mind (<- guy who is very biased and very in love with Terrier breeds)

in some sort of life Marie would be a borzoi

if I were to ever try and draw the squid sisters as more specific less generic breeds of cat I think Marie would be a persian and Callie a ragdoll or ragamuffin, but Im not a cat expert, I have one cat and his breed is orange

despite being more of a dog person, I love drawing the squid sisters as cats because if I drew them as dogs, I'd first have to spend at least 30 minutes researching what breed would fit best, and then I'd think "if I made them different breeds, it'd have to make sense biologically considering-

I saw squid sisters fanart of the vocaloid song Static and now I can't stop thinking of Callie to the song...a song about nostalgia and wanting to stay in the past...paired with Callie...the thought has been rotating in my brain like a microwave the whole damn day

i know a good majority of splatoon fans really don't like splatoon 2 story mode (or more specifically the shotty writing Nintendo did with the whole...y'know) but honestly I can't lie, with it being my favorite, it's really grown on me, confusing story bits and all.

i lied i had a revelation that i can be as annoying as i want into the void because who cares! im going to make so many squid sisters takes that no one will see and be happy bout it
