One of the (less important) reasons why I think it's important that people can afford to go to live football, is because the experience develops an appreciation for how difficult the game is at that level — how quick, how demanding, how unforgiving.

Kicker reporting it’s getting tight for RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose.
Ideally club bosses want to avoid changing coaches now in the absence of a top available replacement.
It looks increasingly likely Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness (ex RBL youth coach) will be the summer target. (+8 mil buy out.)

A tough loss to take for Stuttgart, especially considering it was largely self-inflicted with two poor mistakes giving Bayern the three points on a platter. The title is all but wrapped up now.

I remember in the early 2010s watching AFCON tournaments on Eurosport. Without it I wouldn’t be the same person I am today. A fantastic servant to sports broadcasting that will be missed going behind another paywall.
For 35 years Eurosport brought fans in the UK the sort of football they might never otherwise have seen. Obscure European leagues, hastily-assembled highlights and, occasionally, some tractor pulling.

let's be honest, in the 'which of the continental tournaments are valuable in comparison to each other' debate, the wrongly-rated one is the Copa America. Routinely a dreadful tournament, such poor quality. Tough to place too much focus on a Brazilian/Argentine winning it. Obv a huge deal for others

Concerned for Bremen. In a sprial since the Winterpause. They can’t stop conceding, are struggling to score and look vulnerable every time they lose the ball (which is a lot).
