Mini mince pie crumbles for the local queer youth group tonight 🏳️‍🌈⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

Casually deciding to do a POV day in the life of an adult therian video and realising part way through filming shots for it that Thursdays aren’t normal for me and I’m elbow deep in pastry making mince pies for the youth group I help out at 😅

Always feels odd that now as an adult that I’m extremely open and articulate about my therianthropy as a child I felt forced to hide it, despite it ultimately being a harmless identity.

A couple of my favourite Christmas tree ornaments of this year. The first being a coyote tooth backed on velvet and coyote fur. The other The Mari Lywd asking for beer. Tis the season! ✨🎄🌲🎅🌲🎄✨

A quick post around therian identity, how it fits as an ontological belief and how that fits into the framework of protection under the freedom of religion and belife
Ontology, Therianthropy, and The Equality Act
There is a particular way marginalised identities are often dismissed. They are called phases, coping mechanisms, and internet subcultures. Something aesthetic, performative, or juvenile; something you’ll surely grow out of once you get a job and a sensible haircut. Therianthropy is almost always treated this way in many respects and by people from across the political spectrum. And yet UK equality law is not concerned with whether a belief is fashionable, comfortable, or legible to the majority.

The UK desperately needs to rewild, and restoring wolves and other large predators must be a part of that. Our landscape simply does not function without them.
Bring The Wolves Home
Britain is a country haunted by absences. We talk endlessly about heritage, landscape, countryside; and yet the land itself is silent in ways it should never be. We live in a place that once held wolves, lynx, bears, wild boar, and red deer, and now we pretend a pheasant is wildlife- as if we didn’t put the pheasants there in the first place.

Based on the true events over the past year, a short Lovecraft inspired story of a less than pleasant encounter.
A House on a Street Named Mercy.
I have seldom dared to commit to paper the nature of which I have endured within that unhallowed dwelling. That is not for a lack of words, but for the limits of mortal sanity. To describe it plainly would only provoke laughter in the untested mind, yet to hint at its full horror is to dance to close to a truth that slithers just beyond the range of perception.

Me, killing time and procrastinating by writing my silly little essays: bangs out 2,000 words in a few hours.

Also me, writing my essay for my end of year uni assessments: manages 200 words in a day and cries about how much I’ve done and how hard it is to write

Been working on my first digital zine and published it to my website available for free download.

In this I’ve discussed the reasons that transition should be protected under the freedom of religion/freedom of belief.

As always, trans rights are human rights and should be protected regardless 🏳️‍⚧️⚧️📝

This is a response the the vile attack on trans rights that has come out of the UK Supreme Court. The ramifications of this decision mount up to noting less than a human rights violation.
Magneto Was Right.
This was going to be a post about the supreme courts ruling on the definition of women based on gender assigned at birth. It was going to be me explaining all the complexities of so called "biological sex". Yet so many have already explained this in so many ways that at this point it would be simply flogging a dead horse.

'The Kids Are Identifying as Cats' a look at therianthropy, non-human identity, my experiences, and a little look into why conservative media picked up on this/
The Kids Are Identifying As Cats.
The kids are identifying as cats has become a strawman argument from those with right leaning tendencies, and has become a satirical meme on the left. This however has got an interesting argument within the otherwise seemingly ridiculous statement. I think the first part of this that we need to discuss is that yes, some of "the kids" are, in actual fact, identifying as animals- including but not limited to cats.

New blog post out later today. Good to get back writing for the enjoyment of writing its self. Today’s topic is that of if we are to hold nature as sacred, then we must also hold queer identity in the same vein.

Billionaires want to go to space because guillotines need gravity, therefore someone should build a fully automatic motorised one to motivate them to stay on earth and end world hunger

Shamelessly admitting you can’t understand the very simple metaphor of domino’s in a public forum is a wild take, however I’ve come to realise expectation of any critical thinking skills from TERFs is very unrealistic.

Some thoughts I had late last night while monitoring the local river levels. Writing this out helped me handle the feelings I was experiencing after my town experienced some severe flooding only a few weeks ago. #blog #writer #climatechange #climateanxiey
Late Night Thoughts On Flooding.
Despite living in Monmouth a great deal of my youth, a town with two rivers and multiple brooks and streams, until recently in my life I have never experienced severe flooding in person. In fact, I remember seeing the local playing grounds that I now live near flood at about the age of twelve and filming my dog swimming across the field after a pair of swans.
