I'm not generally a short story person, I'm more into eg Realm of the Elderlings which is three trilogies following one set of characters plus a trilogy and quartet based on the same world with a little intersection, for a total of sixteen long books.

Beef broth was nice, various beans and bits in it, but something in it made it very explodey in the microwave

Reduced sugar cream of tomato tastes like cream of tomato, no issues here, not sure why they need the sugar

Is there going to be any more original fiction in that world?

If it was the 90s I'm sure Jane from Design would tell me "by the way Steve mentioned your dashboard in the Guava project meeting", while I was making a cup of tea, but Jane is in New York and Steve is in Oslo and she's not going to actively send me a message to say that, but it's still nice to hear

It'd get weird if they relied on me being informed about something without directly contacting me, but so far I've just found it to be a useful little heads up.

People are in a meeting they know I was invited to, they know it's being recorded, they know I could do ctrl-F on the transcript, if they say anything they don't want me to hear that's on them!

One time it turned out they were discussing Charli XCX

Meeting recap on Teams will actively notify me "this meeting that you were invited to, here's the bit in the transcript/video where someone said Charlie"

We were not discussing windows if that's what you mean
