This cycle lane has so much potential & I understand why it is always rolled out as an example of great infrastructure. It does go anywhere mind, & you end up on the pavement. My word though the views are something else! #actietravel #cycling

This is such a dangerous entry point for cyclists. You wouldn’t design a junction like this for motorists, so why cyclists? I’ve seen a number of cyclists come off are nearly come off since this was opened.

My son works in Aintree. I had to go and pick his car up. Did a route plan from Crocky Park to his work on that travel planner app the LCR brought out! Loop line was the bulk of it, until I had to carry the bike & get on the A59!

Liverpool council highway engineers have been at it again! Catherine Street cycle lane is finished. It’s narrow, it’s got expensive granite kerb, but the most dangerous designed floating bus stop. I don’t think any of this scheme is LTN120 compliant #activetravel @rantyhighwayman.bsky.social
