X post by Muhannad Ayyash: A sniper! The sniper knew exactly who they were killing. They deliberately targeted this woman. They want to erase us from existence. Quoted post from The Palestine Chronicle: An elderly Palestinian woman, who had gone viral for saying that she was “older than Israel” in a video circulating online, was killed by an Israeli sniper. Underneath are two pictures of the woman. Photo of murdered Gazan poet Refaat Alareer over text: Shuhada Gaza account reports that Refaat received a phone call from the Israeli intelligence, disclosing his location at the school where he sought refuge. They explicitly stated their intention to kill him. To avoid endangering others, he left the school. Tragically, at 6 p.m., the apartment of his sister, where he sought refuge, was bombed. The attack resulted in the murder of Refaat and his sister and her four children.

Yesterday Reuters published a detailed investigation into how its journalist was killed and AFP colleagues injured by targeted fire from Israeli tanks. It received much less coverage than senate hearings about campus protest. Ditto other civilian casualties www.reuters.com/graphics/ISR...
