Both true. Support for Israel has become politically stupid for Dems as well as morally indefensible for anybody.
Politically, the decision not to separate herself from Biden was her biggest mistake. (Among other things, it kept her from admitting that inflation was a thing.)

Harris did not lose because she supported trans rights and abortion. She lost because of concerns about immigration and inflation. The first is complicated but needed to be addressed, and in response to inflation concerns, she basically said, “it’s not as bad a you think.”
