We took a nearly one-mile hike up from the main drag of Taormina to Chiesa Madonna della Rocca, dating back to the 12th century I believe. A shepherd escaped into the cave during a storm, saw an image in a lightening bolt that looked like a woman holding a child. #taormina #sicily #gaytravel
