yes, he almost had a chance to even win which truly was impressive, the conditions today ended up not favouring for win. already saw great runs last year but in new team against highly regarded teammates this truly was great season opener for him

also hoping better rally in sweden for kalle. i kinda suspected this result though because he's never on his best at monte carlo rally but but luckily he had pace today 🙏 anyways the first rally was fun i recommend to check wrc this season if you haven't yet

what i mean is that ferrari's going to get the profit from either of them getting wdc (and wcc for the team). charles also has personal contact to elkann as well.

of course i may be wrong but good to remember that charles knew about this signing and made that big contract extension. he wouldn't have done that if he was just going to be located as "2nd driver". ferrari doesn't really do these dynamics either way so i have hard time seeing it now.
