For about a decade now, I've been interested in the aspects of American (and world) fascism that are more off-the-beaten path than what we hear about in the news. I went where the weirdest conversations were happening online, took notes, interviewed people, and this book was born. 🙂

settle down Billy, I answered your question you just have to wait your turn to ride the Clown-a-Round

I've answered it four times from other dim bulbs already. slave revolts, peasant uprisings, even clerical or cleric uprisings, and other forms of revolution have happened and do happen perpetually. they don't always *succeed.* if that's your question, that's what you should ask

yes, elite competition exists. what's your point?

I'd also love to hear how elite competition and the "complicated nature of ideas" fueled mutinies and slave rebellions

if by "harassing" you mean disagreeing with, probably! a normal person would block her (as I'm about to block you) instead of engaging in weird eliminationist fantasies to all the cult member Stancillites in his audience!

"victimhood" is politely asking a prominent liberal pundit with a cultlike following why he acted in a horrible, abusive manner to a friend of mine?
I don't think dark woke is going to work, tiny friend ):

I agree that it's a mixture of the two, plus other often-discounted factors like random chance. those are what contribute to a *successful* revolution. uprisings, rebellions, mutinies, etc. not counting as (attempted) "revolutions" for some reason makes no sense to me as an analytical framework.

not in the Spartacus Rebellions, the Haitian Revolution, peasant uprisings throughout Europe and other continents throughout essentially all of recorded history, etc.

hell of a lot of exceptions to your "rule"
