We were already terrible in possession before the red, as we were against Wales. We certainly learned that Kennedy shouldn't have been there, ditto Gorry. At least Sam looked like Sam.

Cortnee was obs a drawcard but its worth at least mentioning that Sydney was a pretty hard watch last season, and not regular winners.

Is my memory correct? Did Robert Lewandowski and his Poland team mates announce that they would not play Russia in an upcoming Euro qualifier soon afer the invasion? I think they set an example, they didn't pretend that anything outside of football was not their business.

Tuesday's farce is a logical result - 40,000 paying top $ to watch a rubbish team being shown up by a bunch of local teenagers. They will be happy regardless - the football is irrelevant.

Like Sydney's, its a parking station with an airport attached, so they spend the money on the bit that makes the money. Don't forget to thank John Howard for privatising our airports everytime you have to visit them. At least we have an airport railway up here; Skybus is the worst.

Northbridge are a pretty impecunious club even by NPL standards, hence a fondness for alliances like this. Club earlier had a similar arrangement with Central Coast a good distance in opposite direction.

City haven't had a 10,000 plus crowd average since 2015-16. This season they have pulled fewer fans than Brisbane, Mariners, Newcastle and Wellington. As for WU, ask David Gallop.

The club admits that recruitment was poor but seems to think that Talay had little to do with it;, apparently it was everyone's fault but no one's. I think that's called a cop out. The fan angst is not merely about poor results and recruitment but comically poor lineup choices.

Also surprised to see them expected to front up a few days post Champs League final, not sure that is a great idea especially given that Argentina seem pretty moderate opposition (Currently ranked 33, highest ever is 27).

And of course no VAR and no camera postioned where a definite call could be made, tells you where the womens' top league is.

No one plays rugby league in WA, it doesn't even register in the Ausplay sports census. Yet governments will shower $millions on this rort at the expense of sports with vastly more players and fans.
