Double check. Linseed can be converted to a toxin during digestion. I think a small amount is ok. Similar to clover & bloat perhaps🤷 If they’re starving on entry and then penned in tight and forced to eat a lot quickly with nothing much else to help buffer?🤷

How do you get on grazing sheep on the linseed David? A grazier I heard of turned some lambs out on a cover crop with quite a lot of linseed and a load of them died😱

Variable- the very dry spell Aug-mid Sept and some late harvested crops hindered initial establishment. I’ve got cover crops that are half their normal size because they didn’t really get going until late September
