Like the Kobyashi Maru Test (as defined in 1982, not as redefined in the 2000s), it was a test of character, and they failed. Unfit to command. Where is our humanity? How do we get out of this damn mirror universe?

Yes, he was briefly married to a Romulan, but he was never a fascist. The same cannot be said of those leaders who have dishonored themselves and brought shame on the studio and the franchise these past weeks.

Some might question the presence of a Ferengi on this list. True, Kel was a thief, a liar, and a cheat, but deep inside he had a fundamental goodness. He knew where the line was between making a quick buck off of unsuspecting human tourists in tube tops, and hurting people out of hatred and racism.
