Had the chance to catch up with an old friend who was in town for a conference. I hadn’t seen Jay since graduating from Univ. of Maryland. And while it’s been 33 years, the conversation flowed like it had only been a few days.

Thought I’d start off 2025 by baking a few loaves of bread. My brother gave me this recipe and I find baking to be a very relaxing activity. Nothing like getting your hands on some dough. Hopefully a metaphor for the rest of the year!
