Found this drawing that my 12 year old did on the back of a coloring page while we were at the library a couple of months ago. So thrilled that books make him feel happy! #art #pencil #library #books

Totally obsessed with the mold from #miniverse #honeydukes chocolate frogs set. Spent yesterday making a dozen green frogs and creative inspiration struck that exotic frogs are also a possibility! Other than making a frog army, what would you do with all the frogs you can make?

At the risk of this becoming a 🐝 themed account, how adorable is this?! Saved a bee that had fallen in water, and she proceeded to groom herself like a tiny kitty cat! #plants #nasturtium #honeybee #bee #nature

More plant based art 🎨 🌱 Monstera Deliciosa. I had used this leaf to make botanical prints, but I love how the leaf looked afterward! I think I spent more time on the mat cutting and the framing than actually creating several prints from this leaf, but it's done! #monstera #art #plants

Sometimes my art is just putting together weird stuff from my yard. Occasionally I will find a deceased bumble bee 🐝while sweeping, and I've kept them to make a cloche display until today when I found enough dandelions🌼🌱to finish my displays. The dandelions will continue to open as they dry.

I was just in my yard, and a bee landed on my shoulder, and I said, "Hello, bee friend!" She hung out with me for a minute before flying off. I think this is my invitation to become an apprentice Disney princess, right?! If two birds show up with a contract, I'll know I'm in!

Artists, crafters, and creators: What is your oldest WIP? If we don't count the Cookie Monster latchhook from the 80s that is gone, it is the other sock from a pair of red socks started during the 2004 world series 🤣 Has anyone gone back to finish abandoned projects?

Does anyone else have a collection of notebooks that are just blank because you haven't started writing or drawing?

Artists: How do you push past the point where you have made something that looks good, and you know it's not done yet, but you're afraid of ruining it?
